Blahnik Not Soled on SATC 2

Even Manolo Blahnik, the humble cobbler made famous by Sex and the City has spoken out about his aversion to what has now become the SATC franchise. ‘If people talk to me about Sex and the City I get sick’, the shoe designer said.
Fair enough, I’m not head over heels for this ongoing cinematic desecration of the iconic show either, but Blahnik made his name off the sling-backs of the show. Season after season, Sarah Jessica Parker’s small screen shoe queen, Carrie Bradshaw, name-checked Blahnik’s wares, causing women the world over to flock to his stores.
The least he could do is simply not highlight the fact that the SATC flicks are a farce. But no, Blahnik’s gone and put his finely shod foot in his mouth. “Well, we had a very good year last year, thanks to those stupid satin shoes (worn by SJP in Sex and the City: The Movie). That shoe saved out company”, Blahnik admitted, but also said, “I don’t feel comfortable. I have never wanted to be a celebrity designer.”
And it seems Pat Field and SJP are willing to accommodate him – Christian Louboutin’s red-soled sky-high heels have now stolen the starring role in the upcoming SATC sequel.

I think I'll just stick with my safe and foot friendly hush puppies.........and please hush about my puppies yeh?
I'm sick of people talking about my puppies - it's like they have a god given right! People on the sidelines as they're mocking my puppies seem to be getting the wrong impression.
You should have heard them scream with laughter when one mockateer made the comment that my puppies were showing their age and needed a bit of silicone around the edges! What a heel.......
