Posh To Be Sexy Spice?

Victoria Beckham has been given a guest role, hamming it up as herself, in the soon-to-be Sex and the City movie. Posh was poised to pick up the part, but had to pass – for the present – since her Spice Girls schedule superseded Sex. But the big bosses are doing their bit to get the Brit back on track. They are frantically fitting filming around her, fishing for free time in February.

Why so worried about the thick, yet wafer-thin, waif? Why do they want her? She wasn’t so wonderful elsewhere. Halliwell was hell as well. Save us from a second stupid Spice scene.

Exactly. You know her part in Bend It Like Beckham? Where you see her walking up across a glass corridor at the airport, from a distance? That's as big as I want her cameo in this to be.

But supposedly she'll be 'hanging out' with Carrie and the gang at a party, and they are desperate for her because she's a 'style icon'. Grrrrr..

I agree Lara.

Ginger was in Season Six 'Boy, Interrupted', where Carrie goes out with her highschool boyfriend, played by David Duchovny, and Samantha fraudulently gains entrance to an exculsive pool.

Ginger doesn't play herself, she plays someone called Pheobe, and the fact that she has membership to the pool makes Samantha jealous and even more desperate to get membership herself.

Oh, Jo, I fear that many people will be put off the movie if Posh is in it!

I just hope they can make up for it. It's starting to annoy me that they are acting so desperate for the big names. They always had cameos, but they should be able to make this movie work off sheer talent without placing such importance on a stupid Stick of Cinnamon. (Meaning Skinny Spice. Lol.)
