Sensational New Snaps From The 'Sex' Set!

November 8th 2007 18:51
Over the last few weeks we have been given evidence aplenty of the continuing fashion-forward approach on the set of Sex and the City: The Movie. We have also gained more insight than is probably wise into the plot of the upcoming flick. But what’s a girl to do? When they keep putting it out there, how can we resist the urge to peek?

Sarah Jessica Parker

Below are some of the more… interesting… images to come off the set of late. If you are of the ‘curiosity killed the cat’ school, don’t look at the last couple, as they could well be minor plot spoilers. If you support the ‘but cats have nine lives anyway’ argument, please do sacrifice one (a life, not a cat) here, and enjoy the SATC adventure!

Sarah Jessica Parker
A nice one to get you started - SJP looks hot, and puts our mind at ease: not so much has changed if she's still clutching Vogue, teetering on sky-high heels, and is fashion-wrapped to the max.

Sex and the City: The Movie
Some more wedding pics now - this one showing a distinctly different story to the ones involving bouquet bashing.

Carrie Wedding
Willie Garson finally makes an appearance, reprising his role of the fabulous baldy Stanford.

Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer Hudson has spoken of her hatred of heels - not sure gumboots are really the answer though, Burburry or no.

Carrie Bradshaw
An ever so glam Carrie Bradshaw, strolling the streets of Manhattan.

Cynthia Nixon
Where on earth is Miranda? Has her Brooklyn home been broken into by bandits?

Sex and the City
Charlotte, Carrie and Miranda. I love Carrie's shoes, but her dress is a fifties' fright! Miranda looks marvellous - great accessories.

Carrie Bradshaw
How very Carrie Bradshaw!

Sarah Jessica Parker
SJP appears to have rigged herself up in some strange bouffant contraption.

Miranda and Brady
Mother Miranda and much-grown son, Brady.

Patricia Field
Let's hope fashion mistress Patricia Field was on her way to a fancy dress party.

Kim Cattrall
It seems Samantha got clucky after all - for a pooch.

Miranda and Steve
Miranda and Steve appear to have overcome their problems, if the rumours of marriage counselling were true.

Samantha Jones
Either the movie is going gangster and Sam's been shot, or she's the subject of an animal rights protest.

Sex and the City Movie
Miranda gets into lawyer mode in Samantha's defence.

I cannot wait to see this movie!

Louie,

Here, here. It's bloody ugly, and not even Ms SJP can get away with it - especially with her hair so slick.

Thank ya!

WYS,

Hello! It's scheduled for release 30th May 2008, but I'm not sure if that's a worldwide release yet - I assume so or there will be too much pirating. And I will have to fly overseas. Lol.

Every time I see there are new pics my heart races! It's crazy. I love the pink dress too, and her black get-up.

Thanks for the visit!

Me neither Tracy. This is the most obsessed I've ever been. I've been having dreams. I'll probably go into meltdown as the big day approaches. It's coming out the day before my birthday, and the movie is the only thing I'll be caring about!

I need to get a grip. Lol.

Michaelie, you seem to know much more about these things than I do.

Hi michaelie

I don`t think I have ever watched an episode of 'Sex in the City' - I wonder if you need to be a fan in order to understand the movie? There seems to have been a lot of hype around about it so will perhaps be worth watching when it comes out on DVD to satisfy the curiosity.

Hi Ash (via Michaelie)

Have you got Foxtel? It's on twice a day...I have my lunch watching the lunchtime ep (the perk of part-time work at home). I don't watch the evening one as I've seen them sooo many times, it's ridiculous....or you could get a DVD from the video shop...I think it would help with the film if you know the characters a bit....

It's worth it, Ash!!

Hey Tracy

No haven`t got Foxtel - not really a TV watcher myself, but I`ve heard everyone going batty over this one. I`ll have to see if the video store has got it - may keep me occupied and out of mischief for a while

Hope you are having a good weekend so far.

Hi Ash

We got Foxtel as part of our Internet and phone package. I like it, I find I don't watch it that much but when I do, I really enjoy it. Plus, it has UK telly and yes, I'm still dedicated to EastEnders and things like that

Maybe you could have a decadent afternoon and see if you like SATC...

My weekend is very relaxing thanks, just chilling out with Fergs now as mum and dad came over for tea and then I met a friend and now I'm pooped. (Rich is away for weekend). Hope yours is going well too,

Byeeee xx

PS Hello Michaelie, we haven't forgotten you

ooooh East Enders was a fave of mine... ol' Peggy and the gang! hahaha! used to be a big rush to walk home from work and get the dinner and laundry done quick quick so I could catch the evening episode!

Glad you are having a good weekend. I look forward to a few days relaxing next week when I`m in Sydney - I think my aunt and uncle have Foxtel so I`ll check and see if it`s on while I`m there.

ciao!

Ash x

Hope you`re well too Michaelie - having a good weekend I hope

Hope you have a lovely and relaxing time in Sydney, you''ve been so busy lately, I'm sure you need it.

Tracy,

SATC for lunch and Easties for tea sounds like a balanced diet to me!

And don't worry, getting a grip was a very empty threat.

When you are a 'Sex' maniac, you tend to pick up a thing or two about it!

Ash,

I definitely recommend you go hire the DVDs. I own them all, have watched every ep countless times, but I never get sick of it. It's the greatest TV series ever made (along with SeaChange). You'll probably still enjoy the movie without knowing the characters intimately (and I mean intimately), but you will undoubtedly get a lot more from it if you do.

Come on Ash - join the obsession! Lol.

We should have a weekend of indulgence where we watch massive amounts of both progs...although I have to admit some bits of Easties can be a bit too bleak...so maybe we could fast forward those bits?

ha! that sounds great! A girlie weekend of Easties and Sex (in the City) erm....

whew! last time I recall watching East Enders.... ahhh was when Jamie was run over. I cried coz I thought he was so cute.

I tried to watch last year when I was over but I was always out and about at night and missed it all. I`ll only probably have one day next week to lay about and chill so I think I`ll get a wine and prepare for a day of catch up!

yyeeeeaaaaahhhh!!!!

I don't know how many times I've cried when watching Easties, Ash. I think I bawled the most when Tiffany was run over by Frank. I can still see Bianca howling as Tiffany died in her arms in the square with the snow falling on them. I was a blubbering wreck. They really know how to do deaths on that program. And for some reason I watched it twice, once through the week and then again for the omnibus.

I didn't see Jamie die, but I really liked him too. He was a cutie. And I would've cried for that scene as well. I can only imagine how Sonia was.

Hope you get a chance to see some eps next week and have that relaxing day doing very little, you sound like you've been so busy.

Funnily enough we're only about 6 months behind England here.....

Tracy and Ash - I don't have pay TV anymore so rarely see Eastenders now. I know it can get a bit dark but I used to have a good old laugh while watching it when it would get so soapy the characters would nearly be foaming at the mouth (...now there's a twisted allegory for you!) It can be very, very engrossing though! Now that I only see an ep now and then I'm not as bound up in the storyline.

But I have all the SATC DVDs so Sex marathons are a regular occurence at my place!

It's not just you, Aimster. But they've always been fashion-forward (ie. they wear weird sh*t). Lol.

Thanks!
