Three: Can I Buy You A Cosmopolitan?

The third season of Sex and the City was the season of conflict, transgression but ultimately, realisation. As the fabulous four moved into the millennium, they made many mistakes, gained insight into themselves, and of course, had a hell of a lot of laughs.

Keep reading and you'll find she's got a baby and a husband too... Just what you want, Crystal, though I wouldn't say you were a 'Miranda'.

Thanks!

This was a good season - it's hard to pick.

I liked epi 36 - Samantha's neighbors' reaction to her and how she reacted to them was really funny.

47 was also good. Miranda getting plastered and waking up to find an AA card was great.

I like this season -- how they've all matured a little and dealing with *real* issues <LOL>...

I like 'em all but think my fav might be Episode 47, and 33 -- think Magda was a good addition and good for Miranda.

Patricia,

Samantha so belongs in the meat-packing district. I can't believe she's apparently moved to LA in the movie!

Poor Miranda - she finally 'got what she deserved' only to let her neuroses ruin it!

Thanks - and love the pretty new pic!

Lara,

Yes this was definitely the more 'serious' season!

I LOVE Magda! I didn't so much at the very start, but the more times I watched her, the more I liked her. When she put the condoms on the bedside table, arranged all sweetly on a plate... so nice and so funny! And then later, when Miranda is pregnant, and when Debbie comes around, and when Miranda gets married, and when she's looking after Steve's mum... she's great.

Thanks Lara!

That's one thing she has. But I always wonder - why does she open the window when the tranny eggs her apartment? Every time I watch it I tell her not to, but she never listens.

But it's very funny, and a good end to the series.

I wonder how they'll integrate Sam into the movie when she's in LA. Should be interesting.

Ya know, I wasn't at all looking forward to this movie until I started reading your blog, but I am a little excited now. You should work for their PR department.

And thanks!

I think Season 3 was the last season I really kept up with the show. It was nice to see a more human side of Miranda as she was going through her relationship with Steve.

No worries Patricia! And please feel free to repeat your PR comment to New line.

It will be strange if Sam isn't in NY. But maybe it's temporary for Smith's career.

Kylie,

I reckon Season Four was the best. You should have hung around a bit longer! Did something in particular turn you off it or did you just lose interest generally? I'm slowly going off House I think. I absolutely loved it but the last season has been a bit of a letdown.

Thanks for visiting!

This is the season where Miranda just seemed WAY hotter than in 1 & 2. Almost like she grew into herself or her own style or something. Very definitely a season of hotness for all the girls though.

Miz Manda,

Miranda really starts to come into her own in season three I think. She was made to seem almost androgenous and extremely cynical in the first couple, but I reckon it's from season three that she starts to take a few chances and 'soften' a bit. I love Miranda. And yes, some definite hotness re the ladies!

Thanks, great to see you
