Literal Petit Mort for Second Round of 'Sex'?
November 23rd 2008 19:03
Sex and the City sources are putting the word out: the sequel is afloat, but someone is going to be tossed overboard. Those in the know predict that one of the Sexettes will be killed off in the follow-up to this year’s blockbuster, in order to keep the story ball a-rolling.
Similar rumours surfaced during production of the first flick, when Mr Big was said to be on the way out. Nothing came of it then, and I doubt anything will come of it now. Losing one the principal characters is bound to make things difficult for SATC III through to IX, and if it is lack of plot ideas that is really holding them back… well, it didn’t stop them from making the last one.

It's hard to know what they will really do, but if this does go ahead, I do think Cattrall would be the obvious choice, except that she fills a very particular role.
They have apparently started preliminary work on the film so we will probably know soon, if the last one is anything to go by!
Thanks guys,

Like u said, Cattrall would be the obvious choice...or perhaps 'Charlotte'. I still think though that Big might be written off, eventually...

Well, they can't make anymore storylines from Big screwing Carrie around, so maybe his death is the only option they still have!
The character of Charlotte already has closure on her life story... and maybe come to a dead end?
Terrible.
Thanks Lara!
